Oggi, vedendo il pdf del Previews di Febbraio (che metterò a vostra disposizione: nell’annuncio che farò fra un paio di giorni ci sarà il link per scaricarlo), ho notato un fumetto che non potevo non notare.
Probabilmente alcuni di voi hanno già visitato il sito www.mspaintadventures.com e quindi lo conosceranno già… e si staranno chiedendo come sia stato trasportato su carta visto che in larga parte è interattivo, animato o contiene suoni e musica che fanno parte della narrazione. L’evento è però assolutamente degno di nota visto che Homestuck (ah, non l’avevo ancora detto?) ha una fan base veramente esagerata: si vedono sciamare troll grigi e con corna colorate a decine nelle fiere del fumetto: Lucca Comics, Napoli Comicon, Romics quelle dove li ho visti io stesso (ma sì, l’avevo detto nel titolo di questo post 🙂 ).
Ritengo che questo sia un fumetto che non può mancare ad un vero appassionato – anche qualora il suo genere di riferimento non sia proprio il fantasy (uhm… definizione che gli va un po’ stretta) e nonostante sia tendenzialmente pensato come adatto ad un pubblico adolescente/giovane.

It doesn’t fit into any of the well known and conventional genres, because it is a genre all of its own. It doesn’t follow conventional story-telling techniques and may seem confusing at first, however by the end every single piece fits together to make a nine thousand pages long puzzle which may test your reading patience at first, but through a masterful execution of Chekov’s gun[1], everything definitely pays off.
